It is with a heavy heart that I am posting my 1968 Plymouth Fury III for sale. It is a four door, original Airtemp car (although that stuff has been removed and saved for rebuild). 318, was Carter two barrel, but the original stuff has also been removed and saved. The current carb is an Edelbrock 600 cfm Performer. A 650 cfm Thunder AVS was on the car when I got it. The car also has a good working transmission, new top end rebuild, new lower ball joints (they were 700 bucks alone to install). Car does need interior and minor bodywork. There is minor rust through on the passenger side rear quarter panel, but I have obtained an OEM quarter panel to install. The subframe should also be painted, but I have obtained a can of some chassis coating. The final piece of exterior work that should be done before painting is pulling a dent on the driver side rear door. The wahoo whom I purchased the vehicle from planed it lightly with the front bumper of a 64 Dodge 880. I know I should've fixed it, but never got around to it. This is a solid car, and has been my fair weather daily driver and second car since 2010. I'm only letting it go because I'm looking to get a smaller classic, a Rambler to use as a summer car in the near future. I'm asking $3800 or best offer, and I can get records to show what was done to the vehicle. The current exterior colors of the car are cream white, with an olive green roof. The interior is olive green with avocado. Car is currently located near Minneapolis, MN.PM for contact info
I forgot to mention that I had a new steering box put in, and the rust is only on the lower right quarter panel. Overall, it's a good car. I just need the cash and the room for my next classic, a Rambler American.

Wish I had the cash, it would look great next to my 2 door formal roof. It is also the reason I fell in love with 68 Furys, my dad had a 4 door sedan when I was growing up.
I absolutely love these cars, among other classics, unfortunately this car is just too big to fit in the area I plan on moving too. Some urban streets today can't accommodate a true 18 foot long American boat! By the way, the Rambler American I was going after was sold out from under me. The seller apparently didn't like that I was going to talk him down in price by over a grand since his car needed major motor work and was missing some accessories. Anyhoo, it is still for sale for anyone whom is still interested. I am also open to trades for other classic vehicles, depending on what they are. If it becomes a last resort, I MAY do a trade plus cash deal on another C body, if it is a two door hardtop. Otherwise, I need to try downgrading to a smaller classic.
