Hi I am new to this forum and live in Germany.I own a 1976 Dodge Monaco Police Car that i am trying to put together.Does anyone has or know where to get any of the body mount bushings. Is anyone using Polyurethane as mounts?Does anyone uses Polyuretane upper or lower controlarm bushings and has some experiance with them?(i know they dont make them for my application but i seen some people make them for their cars)
energysuspension dot com, also prothane dot com I have used polyurethane bushings on the upper control arms of a 1973 Plymouth Duster (A-body). I found that the bushing inner hole tended to enlarge thus becoming sloppy. In a non-moving application such as a transmission mount, I have had no problem. For a subframe mount, make metal "biscuits" similar to Chrysler's metal mounts for the F, J and M bodied cars. For body mounts on a Chrysler product of that period, you will probably have to fabricate your own.
