Krautmaster, one more quick question. The 262 degree is the intake duration, correct?
262 intake, 268 exhaust. The duration is a little longer on the exhaust to make up for the exhaust manifolds (426 Hemis used a 280/280 because they had much better flowing manifolds)

Personally, I would go to the one they used to call 60300 in a 383 engined C...Dont forget that they are 3 bolt cams, so new timing gear will be needed.

To get the best out of the motor, it needs to be a combination of stuff
New ally heads will only pick you up noticeable power in the top end - 3500 and up. The same can be said for pretty much any cam you will find out there
IF your bottom end is in reasonable condition, you have the best year of 383's to use, the factory pistons are (give or take) already at the top of the deck, unlike pretty much every other big block mopar out there - this is a one year only thing, my motor had them between 0 and 6 thousand's above the deck. On the down side, the pistons have a 9cc dish in them - my stock cr with 906 heads is 8.6:1, sooo if you knock around 50 thou off the heads, that will get you to 78cc's in the head + the 9 for the pistons - 87cc and around 9.6:1 static comp and 8.1 dynamic, which is just on the edge of ping territory - net result, not much really - maybe 10hp 15-20ft/lbs, BUT its across the whole rev range and fuel economy will be better (and its cheap)
This will not nett you anywhere near the gains of a stroker - cam for cam - head for head, the extra inches are going to be worth 30-60 hp across the rev range, however the cost is significantly higher, 6-650 for pistons, same for a new crank and then whatever the rods are going to cost - reco 383 rods are only $11 ea at rock auto currently or you can go up to 6.76 440 rods - 440 source ones at $500 are the lightest on the market and cost around the same as everyone else's, balancing etc
Drivability is more down to the cam and your right foot , another grind to look at is the 255/275 - mopar heads have terrible exhaust flow as a ratio to the intake, this is what really kills them. The rest of the drive train is usually fine to around 500hp or so
