Looking for a good picture on how to properly install the aluminum heater hose retainer strap that holds the heater hoses to the passenger side valve cover on 66 C body cars with big blocks.

Looks right to me. Sorry I don't have a picture, but from what I remember, you almost couldn't do it wrong. The strap just holds them in place. The thin end goes through the slotted end on the top of the hoses and just folds over.

My heater hoses are retained to the valvecover using a heavy U-shaped metal strap. I've never seen these ziptie-like narrow metal straps used in this application.

I believe all four of our 66's came with that style. I know my Windsor did when I got it, and I can't see anyone changing to it after-the-fact. My dad's Windsor has been in the family since new, but has had aftermarket aluminum valvecovers on it as long as I can remember, so I'd have to double-check with my dad.
