Got myself a pair of skirts! and boy do they need some TLC. after i do have them looking respectable, how do i go about putting them on? does anybody have some close-up pics? guessing other cars have similar mounting set-ups. looks like i need to drill a hole in the fender lip towards the front side of the wheel opening and perhaps put some studs elsewhere around the wheel arch to keep the skirt lined up?

I didn't know the Fury was available with skirts. I took a few pictures of my 68 New port for you. The car is suffering from Tin Worm. Please ignore the Horror.
Here we go.
Note the lip inside the opening. It is for the skirt to sit against. It will be noticeable when the skirt is not installed. These skirts actually fit into the door opening as well. There is an obvious void when they are not used. If you are putting skirts on a car that was not made for them you will have to fabricate something similar.
Pin hole B is the slot. It is needed so the pin can swivel into position.
Great info and pics from bboogie - however I want to add that many models were available with optional skirts (like my Monaco), and didn't have the lip in the wheel opening.
They used a similar pin and clamp arrangement as bboogies do, just without a lip. No need to fabricate a lip.

Thanks Ross, good info there. I didn't mean to say this was all there is. guess I should have said "you might have to fabricate something." I wasn't sure of the other models, as all I have is the Chrysler with skirts. I have had several 68 Furies and none had skirts. That doesn't mean there wasn't any made. I wouldn't know. I am aware of the aftermarket ones as well. Guess it depends on what you have. I simply shared what I have.

My '68 Fury VIP came with fender skirts. Between the lip and the skirt itself there are combination of pins and holes for the skirt to align to. The lever works its way over to clamp itself to the back side of the lip. Works pretty much like bboogieart's description. I could photograph mine tomorrow so you can see how it goes on a Fury.
