Hi all, I have a '96 Dodge RAM 2500 V10 4X4 truck that had to sit for a year. I just got it back on the road and now it is missing badly on one cylinder at idle. I replaced the plug wires and looked at the plugs (they only have about 2K miles on them) and all look fine. I am sure I have an injector that is partially plugged. There are quite a few brands in both re-manufactured and new. There are also a large differences in cost, I can get reman injectors for $30 from Rock auto and new ones from Napa are $175! What injector brands have you had experiences with and what brands should I avoid. Thanks for the help!

Thanks but at $85 each, that would be $850 for a full set. I can't afford that much. Rock Auto has Airtex/wells and Standard in new and GB remanufacturing and Autoline in remaned. The Standard brand new injectors have a 3 year/36K mile warranty, that sounds good and they are $30 each. Has anyone tried Standard Motor products replacement injectors or any of the other brands? Thanks

I went with Standard brand from RockAuto. They are new and didn't require a core charge. The injector replacement on my 488 was a bunch of work but it is running as good or better than when I got the truck. The truck had a bad miss at idle, after the injector replacement it has WAY more power and throttle response. It was a well spent $300 and a few (maybe a little more than a few) hours of labor. The truck wasn't getting more than about 7.5 MPG empty and 5 towing, now it is getting more than 10 MPG empty. Success!
