I was hesitant to share what rotor I was looking at, but then I realized there's no sense in keeping it secret, esp on a project I may never finish.
'98-2002 Crown Vic/Town Car is the rotor, 12.42" dia. Same rotor between civvy and copcar, so I figure if it's good enough for a 4000-bl copcar it's good enough for me. BTW - I was incorrect earlier, this rotor is only 1.10" thick vs our 1.25", but it's still thicker than most modern rotors of this dia (which are usually ~1"). Heavier than most, also, but lighter than a C, but the C has hub weight in it which modern rotors don't.
I haven't looked at any calipers outside of the Vic caliper (I pulled 1 rotor/pad/caliper/bracket setup at a JY) and the Mopar calipers/brackets I borrowed from a buddy. That's part of the problem with a project like this, it can get really expensive just evaluating the options.

Have you looked at Desert Valley Auto Parts? Rust free vintage auto parts in Arizona. They specialise in old iron. I would think they would have plenty of parts. Also, Wildcarautosalvage specialises in old mopar. Just a thought for the parts that aren't over the counter anymore.
