There's a guy out there that sells Mopar Chrysler Parts out of North Phoenix Arizona. His name is Johnny Rosen aka "Junk Yard Johnny".
Don't know if you've dealt with him before, but as far as I'm concerned he's a FRAUDULENT, LYING CHEAT AND WILL BURN YOU and that's a nice description.
I purchase a Factory RH Mirror from him. He lied about the description & condition of the part. I receive the mirror and it's missing a chunk of metal on the base & comes with NON FACTORY micky mouse mounting hardware.
Dissatisfied I tell him I want to return it. He says he'll give me a credit.. I tell him I don't want a credit and he cusses at me and finally says he'll give me my F%#$!G money back and to just send it back.
I send the part back - NO REFUND.
I call to inquire about the refund and he says, "I DON'T GIVE REFUNDS - YOU HAVE A $200 CREDIT WHAT DO YOU WANT!"
I ask him to compromise with me and just RETURN the mirror back to me - NO PART!
He now has both my $200 and the part!!!
I now see he posted a 1966 Chrysler Wagon on CL and states in the ad he has an optional Factory RH Mirror - the one I returned to him!!!
Yeah, he's a character... many people have less than flattering things to say about him. He's been pulling these kind of shenanigans for years.
Beware...
There should be a sticky or something on this guy so no one else will get burned by him. If this has been going on for years as you say shouldn't those on this and other related forums know about him. If I knew I wouldn't have dealt with him and be $215 richer!
You might want to try Desert Valley Auto Parts-- they are nearby junkyard Johnny, but they are a reputable place I've done business with. They are a bit pricey on some items and don't like to haggle much.

I visited Johnny Rosen with an Imperial buddy of mine maybe five years ago. Yeah, he's quite a character!! To say the least... He had a bungalow in a subdivision, but didn't live in it. The house was jam packed with parts, including in the bath tub! And very surprisingly (you couldn't tell from the street) his backyard was like 2 acres, with maybe a dozen Mopars, mostly Imperials. Pricey? Yes, everything was priced in even $100's, $100, $200, $300 etc. I haven't checked lately but his eBay auctions used to be hilarious (and pricey!). He seemed like an OK-ish guy, but at his prices I wouldn't want to do business with him.
Oh yeah, when he showed up he was driving an old beat up '67 Newport station wagon, very cool beater.
Yes, I'm surprised he's still in business. There are guys here that have been ripped off by him going back to 2006 as far as I can tell. I really think his NAME should be on a sticky under "Cars, Parts Wanted or For Sale.
Unless you know his name you can't search for threads about him. So for the benefit of both new and old members I suggest a sticky under ategories relating to his business.

Yeah, he's a riot to talk to - when he smells $$$. He's all about being your friend, but once he gets the hint you're not interested or you question his pricing the horns come out. He only deals in cash or check, hates email and hesitate to tell you so, will not provide any photos for the parts you're inquiring about, but tells you it's the best etc.... so basically you have to take him at his word or walk. I suggest to choose the later.... WALK AWAY!!!

i dealt with him in the 1980s when i was looking for the hard convertible top boot side pieces for my 64 imperial convert. he sent me cracked, broken unrepairable parts and refused to give a refund or a credit. he also demanded i return the wooden box he sent them in ! check out imperialclub.com and do a search on him. ive called mopar collectors guide a couple of times when ive seen him run ads and tipped them off.
