After weeks of indifferent weather we had a glorious Sunday. I was in the 300 and noticed that I had not even broken 100 miles this year. I promptly fired her up and drove around town to bring the years mileage to 112. Whoo Hoo. another year of 100 plus ! ! !!

Wow, after looking at a Yellowknife map on Google, you must have made quite a few runs up and down 50th Ave!
They say we are supposed to get more of this warm weather this fall. Last year about this time the river was covered with ducks and geese getting ready to flock up for the run down south. So far this year I only seen half a dozen geese and maybe a dozen ducks. They must be still up in your country sunbathing or whatever they do up there!

I don't know about having a long fall. That's why I drove the car now instead of on the Canadian thanksgiving. On the drive I saw thousands of geese and ducks that look like there were heading south. Oh well. Time will tell.

I'm on the Bow river in south Calgary and usually the river is covered with ducks and geese at this time of year. Maybe the migration path has shifted. Which direction did you go?
