Just picked the old girl up the other day. She is in need of TLC but in altogether good shape. Needs a tune up and brakes redone. I am sure there isn't but is there a good parts provider that has a catalog to get parts for this car? Either way plan on getting it road worthy ASAP. Will post more pics later. ANY advice on what to fix on it first is appreciated. I am going to drop the tank and clean it out and rebuild carb. Bolt on new plugs, wires, cap rotor, points, rebuild carb, etc.
Also wondering what to do wheel wise, was thinking of leaving on the steel ones and repainting them and putting in a chrome center and lug nuts... any thoughts?...

pretty cool. think your plan of action is good. aside from maybe the disc brake stuff and wheels most of the mechanical stuff is the same as a c body. i'm not sure if the bolt pattern for the wheels is the same, i know up to 66 it was a different bolt pattern. repainting the wheels might be the simplest and cheapest way to go. you should check out imperialclub.com i would suggest adding a sequential tail light kit, i did that to my 81 imperial...... mark

The Imperial is Mopar royalty and I really don't think your wheel idea fits an Imperial, they simply wouldn't appear in public with chrome nuts showing.

I like it all except maybe the black. The blue parts give the car a classy look, the black makes the fenders bulge and makde a bloated or fat look. Maybe the black sides need some chrome.

A set of spider caps would go nicely with freshly painted steelies. The caps would cover the nasty hole in the center and it would look killer dropped down a few inches.

I think your right. Also was thinking though and thought about throwing the stock hubcaps back on it and see what it looks like.... ultimately it may be a trial and error process.
