..... Only one problem: The transmission oil cooler connectors are welded in, and they are too small for the factory stock nuts which are 1/2''. The cooler connectors are only .455", so the nuts won't tighten, they'll just leak like a sieve.
Metric maybe?
After further Google search I came across the Champion spec, the fitting appears to be 1/8-27 NPT. This is a tapered pipe thread so an adapter should connect it to the stock Mopar fittings.
Not even close to a 1/8-27 NPT, it's considerable larger than that, but smaller than the 1/2 nuts on the stock cooler lines. People on other sites have cut them off and drilled out the holes and tapped them for brass fittings, but I didn't feel like fooling with that.....

Wow, it's pretty bad when even the manufacture screws up the spec sheets. I guess the solution is to order one without the oil cooler and add an external one like you did.

The radiator cooler does a good job of putting some heat into the fluid. That sounds counter intuitive until you realize that every time you drive the car 'cold' the trans is operating with fluid that is also cold and it would like fluid that is 'warm'.
