I've seen them posted up before, but can't seem to be able to find them. I'm going to build my own since I've been unsuccessful in finding one. If someone has any schematics, message or email me.

I'm looking for the receiver schematics for a 70 c-body. I don't plan on using it to pull anything, more for protecting the fuel tank.
I saw your post a few weeks ago and for the life of me I couldn't figure out what you were asking. Then your second post confused me even more, what has a "receiver schematics" or radio wiring diagram got to do with pulling and how could it affec the fuel tank??? Then, bingo, the light came on - you are asking about a trailer hitch!!
Had one on my '70 Fury. It bolted to the side face of the frame rails on each side of the fuel tank and had a cross piece at the rear of the tank for the receiver. The receiver was also attached to the rear bumper. Maybe someone has a picture.
Starting in the middle sixties to the middle seventies every Factory Trailer Hitch was an item that was designed by the Factory and its "Blue Prints" were sent to each Dealer.
With the supplied "Blue Prints" The local Dealer-Ship would then contract with a local Metal Fab Shop to make them. The Dealer-Ship would then stack them in a back corner until they sold.
The design spec's are now different - but the same principle is used with draw-tite, Reese, Curt and the other Hitch Makers. Contact your local U-Haul for a lead.
Sorry to confuse everyone. You know how different people can talk about something, but use various words to describe the same thing.
Thanks Rodger, that's what I was looking for. But, yes, I might end up towing something. I was just out looking at an older camper and thinking about how cool it would be to tow it with the Chrysler someplace for a vacation.

This is "how cool it would be" The 68 Fury had just standard frame hitch, but the trailer had equalizer bars and a surge type brake. The Fury hauled it just fine, although it had to work on the hills because the little 318 had to really work hard. The combination would have been way better with a 383 or 440. Anyhow it was fun!
