I have so much tied up in my 68 fury and just realised my rearward subframe mounts are pooched. Overwhelmed with this obstacle and feel like I'm over my head as I don't want to ruin any geometry or sacrifice safety when driving. Not sure if I (A) Patch these ones...nope (B) Try to find replacements for a reasonable amount...doubtful (C) Fab a set out of 3/16 Steel ...P.i.t.a

When you say pooched what is bad? The steel subframe? body floor? Rubber parts? I had to do extensive work to mine. really wasn't that big a deal. A day with some steel and a welder. And I replaced the rubber mounts with an Energy Suspension part, I'd have to look the part number up again.

Mine were pretty thin as well. Fortunately I had the forethought to cut off and save the good ones from my parts car that also donated its front subframe.
How are the body mounts at the front corners of the floorpan? One of mine was shot and had to be cut out and replaced with a section from my parts car as well.
