Hello all,
Am restoring a 1966 Plymouth Fury II, 4-door sedan w. 383 4-barrel, automatic, A/C, power steering, 4-wheel drum brakes (not power).
Might someone have some original engine compartment photos so I am able to see the original layout of all as original - A/C hoses, wiring, fastening straps, carburetor, etc. in and around the engine compartment and motor.
The words “Commando V8” are on the fender emblems and the 4-barrel carburetor does have 2 large inlet tubes. The stickers on the air-cleaner cover were torn off. The stickers were once silver and white I believe, where can these be had?
Do you have a Air Cleaner Housing that has or does not have a fitting on the left Snorkel. If it has a fitting - it is to be connected to the left Valve Cover's Oil Filler Cap.
For all The Fasting Straps that have a flexible black rubber type of material on them can be "repainted/ fixed up" by removing all to the metal and then re-coating the black portion with Plastic Dip ( found at all Lowes - Home Depots and other such places in The Paint Department ).

Rodger & Gabby,
Yes, I do have the original air-filter housing with a hose connecting the air-intake to the oil filler cap. All appears as new.
My hope is to see the original routing of the a/c hoses to/from the compressor, around the engine to/from the firewall and to/from the front condenser. It does sometimes seem that the compressor fittings do aim somewhat differently on some models.
In addition I hope to see the cable/wires and their routing on the inner fender well(s).

Hi there....following this thread as I am doing a home resto on my 66 Fury 3, 383 as well. I am trying to get it reasonably close to original and have a few pics that might help. Most of the wiring is original, especially around the bulkhead connector etc so I will dig them out for you. Ive recently painted the original aircleaner and sourced a set of valve covers which I have painted blue.....Some of the pics are 90 deg out but dont know how to alter this on site as they are correctly orientated on my tablet. Sure you can save them and rotate on your computer. Sorry, no aircon on mine...
All of the stickers/ decals are available easily and the company listed are good to deal with

Your resto looks good. Did you know you can buy the oem stock wire harness straps for inner fenders, strap for heater hoses and retainers for ignition wire for the valve cover wire holders ?
