I did the lowball online offer on three 2 door imperials and got two of them. Now I just have to figure out how to get them home! Most of the cars went very cheap in my opinion. If anyone is in the business of hauling two imperials to the Kansas City area let me know!

I bought one of the '70 300 2dr cars, the red one. It's coming all the way to Dallas, TX! Which two imperials did you buy?
I agree that everything was dirt cheap. If I lived up there I would have bought every '70 2dr Fusey he had with a big block.

I got the 69 2dr that was bronze?? and the 70 2dr that was light gray. I agree on buying all the fusey's. Had I been there I think I'd have 15 or 20 to get home. I can't imagine there will be another auction like that in my lifetime. I had my plane ticket bought then realized I'd be gone on my 6 yr olds birthday.
I almost went after the red 300 that you got, I won the 70 blue 300 and the 70 Newport vert. the 300 was a parts car for the vert but after close inspection it is too nice a car to pull apart. I was out bid on the 62 300 two door hard top. It is a 12 hour round trip and $200.00 in fuel if it were closer to me I would have drug home at least 6 cars. The auction was fun and sad at the same time as Charles worked so hard to collect all of the cars I don't believe there will ever be another auction like this again. bob

I would give an arm and leg to have walked around that collection. A good friend of mine has imported several nice fusies into the UK and we dream of $200 fuel bills! Anything to the UK is minimum $2000. A 12 hr drive to collect would turn into a great road trip with the guys to collect cars, drink coffee and eat donuts....im VERY jealous. Well done on all the purchases. Great to know these cars will live on and not just rot away.
