I don't remember asking this before so here it goes. Has anyone fitted TTI 318 poly headers in '67-'68 slabside c-body? I have a poly engine in my '67 VIP and I was thinking buying those headers ment for '65-'66 c-body. Any chance they fit without cutting inner fenders? I believe '65-'68 c-bodies has no major differences...

I think they'd fit. Shouldn't be anywhere near the inner fenders. the Poly's exhaust port faces down close to a 45* angle. Like you said the chassis aren't that different.

Yeah. I think I'm mad enough to take the risk and try to fit them. After some comparing and measuring I think they'll fit but there might be an issue with the steering center link. But I really really want those headers so I'm going for them.

Gentlemen. Possibly for the first time in the world, or at least in Europe I'll give you TTI poly headers in '67-'68 C-body. Only minor modification was needed. I had to dent one of the tubes for idler arm clearance. Suprisingly passenger side was much harder to install. Drivers side fit like a glove.

Hmmm. Odd combo of parts there, Mr Matic. The oval air cleaners (those are the Swedish repops, right? I have a set also) and a Poly, in a 67, built after those items were done/gone from the scene. Well done.
I found an air filter close to the correct height for them, PM if you want info. And make sure to shorten those aircleaner studs before you close the hood!!!

Canadian built models were still equipped with 318 Polys in 1967.
To make things even more interesting, the Canadian-built A engines were 313 cid, not 318 cid, right up to the last year of production in 1967. They had the same stroke but a slightly smaller bore than the 318.
