Well, not actually. It's just a New Yorker, but the intention is to reach 300 km/t with it, which is close to 190 mph. Here's a couple of pics: http://kuvablogi.com/blog/24173/8/

The base engine is a 4.15" stroke, 4.5" bore Megablock engine. CR is a little over 8:1, Ross dished pistons. Crank and rods are 440 source, heads are RPM heads that have been ported with silightly biger ports than stock. Intake is a Torker II. Carburator is a C&S Specialties blow through E-85 carb. Camshaft ia a Mechanical roller with around 255 degreees at .050" and 112 LSA. The base engine has been in use with a 8-71 supercharger, it made a little over 800 hp and lb-ft. There will be no intercooler at least for now, just the E-85 and water methanol injection. I think we'll aim at about one bar of boost, and expect the engine to make a little over 1000 hp. The converter is 10" PTC with steel stator, tranny is a 727 and the rear axle a 8 3/4" with 35 spline spool and 2.76 gears. Theoretically it should run a little over 190 mph at 7000 rpm with the tires used. The turbos are 68mm that were left overs form our VIP, new slightly bigger and more modern turbos there.

They are different. Not really any other special reason, of course there is also a little more room and that's what we happen to have now. Mostly we have built A-bodies, and currently have a couple of them too. The goal with the New Yorker is to get it ready before June, and first try it at the drag strip. However, ther is some other projects also that should be finished first....
