Krautmaster, I understand you comments completely! I cant understand why more people did not comment on the dyno sheet of my latest engine build. So it kinda feels as though we are in the same boat....or should that be whale? lol

Tried Oldcycloneguy tune for the 1406 carb. Ended up at .035 squirters ,accelerator pump arm hole closest to pivot, #1445 metering rods and orange step up springs. Darn close. Stock 1965 383 cu in. Engine has weiand intake, Stock 2 snorkel air cleaner. HP exahust manifolds. Stock points ignition. Not a tire fryer but getting there.
Hey oldcycloneguy. What if you were running rich? Would that had changed anything? I ask cause I was running rich with stock eddy carb and jetted leaned and nothing. Some bogged. Put back to stock and recurved my advance. And will test drive soon. And may have answered the question new torque converter. You guys are my last hope! If more info needed I can. Thanks.
