Does anyone out there know if there might be a good source for using the brake hardware off the front end of the new RWD mopar cars for our older ones? It seems to me with the popularity of these cars the parts should be fairly easy to get and at least semi reasonable in price. Maybe it would be as simple as a new spindle that could bring all the elements together. Anybody know somebody who could design and fab up the Spindle?
AndyF at AREngineering has been looking in to them as a source for rotors, but the calipers are nothing special. I'm pretty sure that even the rotors are kind of expensive, and they're large enough that you have to go to 17" wheels to fit them. Also, the bolt pattern is different - 5x115mm, rather than 5x114.3mm (4.5"), so they're not as easy to use as you'd like them to be, being a Mopar and all.
