If I remember right these were discussed on the old board. They are sold on eBay and there are quit a few problems with fit and quality. I recently was looking for something for another car and found them on ebay (not these shorty's) but same supplier and there were more than a few unhappy customers with fit and finish.

Look into the Hedman shorties part # 78070. You have to use a mini-starter with them but thats not a big deal. You can get them from Summit for around $135.

the better fitting headers are the TTI C-body ones. The only problem is the serious cheddar it takes to buy them. I have the TTI system on my car,but I could not afford the headers.

Sorry, haven't tried them...yet.
When they first came out the TTI's were still a dream. I contacted Hedman about whether they fit the 65-66 C-body and they said they didn't know. They offered to let me try them and if for some reason they didn't work for me that they would take them back even with scratches and dings on them. Unfortunately, I never got around to trying them for numerous reasons. I did think it was pretty cool they made the offer though. Kudos to Hedman! !thumb
As far as headers for '69 - '73 C's. Hooker Headers actually has a part number for these for the the big blocks. All because of the 70 300 H. I spoke to a gentleman who had one. He got one of the first sets and had them cerma coated. Look great. Bottom line, I'm you are going to make big power with these cars you need headers.
