Still trying to get a hold of MAD Electrical. Nobody picks up the phone. Does anybody have an email for him. I was actually thinking about driving up there as he's pretty close but I don't really want to intrude.

I have talked to Mark Hamilton several times on the telephone. - Everybody complains that he is hard to get a hold of. Usually it is because the line is always busy. A reason for this is that he walks to everyone for hours. It is difficult to brake the conversations off, and a little difficult to get a word in edgewise. You could be locked into a telephone conversation for hours. He seems to be a retired automotive electrical engineer. - Selling anything seems to be of the lowest priority to him, but I usually try to buy some token item. The last time that I called, I bought 12 feet of 3/8 nylon conduit for $9 and a packet of 10 8-gage ring terminals (1/4 inch hole) for $5 to add to my collection. Large 8-gauge ring-terminalis are about four times as expensive as 10 gauge ring terminals. - I currently have every gauge size on #10 ring terminal and now I am starting to add the 1/4 size to my collection. - So he talks to me for hours and I buy $14 worth of merchandise. What does he clear on that? $7? How does he eat? - Of all things, I would most highly recommend the booklet, ELECTRICAL WIRING "tech is made simple" for $8. It is a must have. - Now it is possible that Mark has simply left town for a while. Perhaps a kid is getting married or something. - I suggest that you just keep calling back, sooner or later you will get him. - If you just showed up, he would probably overwhelm you with gratitude that you would drive all that way to see him. However, if he is not answering the telephone, he probably is out of town for some reason. - He seems to live in a vintage world where you would simply hang the ‘Gone Fishing’ sign on the screen door, and that was that. - Hopefully, he has not fallen into bad health, or something like that. - RJ [ Edited Thu Feb 21 2013, 11:30PM ]
