im finally getting around to messing with my fury and im trying to fix the fact that none of my gauges work. i was told it was the voltage regulator possibly on the back of the speedo but im not seeing it. ive looked around and found pictures of what it looks like but dont see it under the dash. im also open to the possibility of me not even having one but then im still not sure where it goes. where should i look? any help is appreciated.
I looked through their application chart on the site & it showed 62-64 & 66 Fury's with an external limiter but nothing on a 65 so it does seem it doesn't have one from that. these guys are who to get it from too.
Hopefully somebody else can chime & we'll see if this is all correct.
Read through the RTE site, it's kinda hard to navigate but a lot of info there.
I didn't catch what Ross said either, Yeah check the back of the gage trio first! If it's not there then it might be in the Fuel gauge & you could tell from their pics for sure.

thanks for the replies. i initially did check the back of the trio and it didnt appear to be there either. and the fuel gauge is built into it. would it still be behind it? thanks.

here is a link to a good thread on here about voltage limiter replacement http://www.cbodydrydock.com/forum_viewtopic.php?5.98251.0 this should help immensely and good luck, I can tell you for personal experiance that your limiter is built into your fuel gauge. [ Edited Tue Oct 12 2010, 10:12PM ]

Not sure about the gauges on a Fury, but I do know that before you do anything else with that car, you really need to clean those ammeter terminals. (the red and the black wire) Almost all the current in your electrical system goes through that gauge, rust there will cause resistance, which causes heat, which will cause a meltdown.
thanks for the replies. cleaning the corrosion is definitely on my to do list. is there anything in particular i should use? but im just trying to figure out this regulator situation first. i took the fuel gauge out of the trio and did not see it. and it didnt look like i could take it apart?
