Anybody know for sure if the rear power window regulator (4dr hardtop) for a 66 is the same as a 65? Any chance a sedan one is the same? How about newer than 66 being the same? I know where there is a 65 4 dr htp. Also know where there is a 66 sedan.
Finally got around to pulling the door apart to find out why the left rear window don't work. Found a block of wood holding up the glass. Guess that explains it LOL.

Was there any of the regulator or tracks still in place? Or was it just the wood holding up the window?
If the regulator and stuff is still present my guess is all you need is a new power window motor. You can get one from almost any mopar up into the 90's. Just check to make sure that you get one that is oriented properly. There are left and right side motors, but they used them on opposite sides in later years when they flipped them and rotated them to make them work in the newer designs, so just double check.
Probably more info, and not exactly what you were wanting, but thought I'd throw it out there again.
Thrashingcow, that was information I needed...I have 3 that aren't working and probably would have paid through the nose for units for a 65 300, but knowing that I could use ones from up to the 90's is a great help.

You are very welcome.
Only other thing I forgot to add, was that some of the later power window motors run a different electrical connection. So you will either have to cut and solder the newer connection onto your old wiring, or change the wiring connection on the newer motor. Simple fix and well worth the added effort for the money you'll save.
